It makes it way harder to gain mid-control since the enemies are forced to pass the toxin wall and will be vulnerable. This wall blocks the vision from the B lobby and forces the attackers to either give control of the plant area or play aggressively, pushing through the wall or playing ahead of it. Used when you want to play retake, and will play in a more defensive way. This wall is very common in competitive games and is the most used wall when it comes to executing into the B Bombsite. This way you just have to worry about the players in the plant area, since your wall covers the other two entries to the bombsite. It blocks the vision from the defenders coming from CT or B tube. Viper Walls and Smokes on Breeze B Bombsite It also blocks the vision of the right side of the mid pillar for the attackers. It blocks the enemy's vision of the bombsite and forces them to pass the wall and get vulnerable in order to get to the plant zone. It completely blocks the enemy's vision and also makes them vulnerable if they decide to push through the smoke. This is a great one-way smoke that allows you to see the enemies first when they enter through double doors. Point to where the crosshair is and jump throw with right-click. It also makes them vulnerable if they stay inside the smoke. This smoke prevents that from happening, completely blocking the vision of the player or players that might be playing there. If the enemies are on top of the container they will be able to watch over your wall. Point to where the crosshair is and do a jump throw left-click. It's the best wall you can use on the A bombsite since it allows you to enter the site in an easy and safe way. It blocks the vision from the enemies that are playing back site and forces them to either give up control of the plant area or play aggressively. That said, she is an outstanding support or augment to the "smokes" role, and when combined with "X Duelist with smokes", this is generally enough to replace a dedicated "smoker" in the comp, as she covers majority of defensive smoke needs, and her wall can provide sufficient denial for Neon/Phoenix/Jett to get on site with their own smokes/wall.Viper is considered by most players the best controller on Breeze. And the team will struggle to approach more then one site with (just) vipers kit. ![]() This combined with her high cooldowns and set up time, usually means she struggles as the "dedicated smoker" of a comp. This is distinctly weaker then the 3+ smoke plums that astra/brim/omen can bring down. She usually can only get 1-2, and/or cut the site in half. This makes her very defensive oriented as a whole (Like other controllers), which isnt something you really consider with "dedicated smokers".Īdditionally, it is very hard for viper to completely block off all angles of a vision for a site with her kit. Meaning its harder for her to benefit from rotations. S he's objectively worse on offense then brimstone or omen because once her wall is down, she can't move it. Like neon and phoenix she has smoker qualities (wall, orb, ult), but her primary purpose is site control, relying heavily on decay, with the benefits of site denial via smoke. Viper is not a traditional "smoker" like astra, brimstone or omen.
